Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has agreed to rescind its July 6, 2020 guidance which would have prevented international students from taking online-only classes this fall. The decision was announced at a hearing on the lawsuit filed by Harvard and MIT but will apply nationwide.

Instead, ICE will return to its previous guidance issued earlier this spring, which allows international students to attend online only programs.
